A few of my favorite things

Ok, so I just love Stella & Dot, which is why I became a stylist. I wanted to share some of my favorite pieces that made me fall in love!

Palamino Necklace

This piece is so stunning and versatile. Dress up your little black dress or wear it with casual jeans and a tank, and it works!


Chantilly Lace Cuff

This cute little piece is awesome for going out for a night on the town or just dressing up a work outfit. Very chic.

Carrie Bangles

These just scream summer to me! The coral and aqua ones have a gold outline and the white has silver. They are shaped like coral, which if you don't already know, I am obsessed with all things ocean.

Days Like Today

Remember to keep your heart open.

Days like today often make me sad and frustrated at life. You work hard, day in and out. At life, at friendships, or whatever. You try to keep that smile going, but some days it's hard. People let you down, you feel let down by those closest to you, or society in general. Those days you have to pay attention to the little things. Try not to worry or get flustered over those things that piss you off. The smallest things can make your heart a little warmer. A simple hello from a friend, an offer to go for lunch, anything. You just have to let them in and let that warm your heart more than those negative things can make you feel like you're going crazy.

A dear sweet friend of mine sent me a text the other day. "I see you continually give and never close your heart off to that regardless of other people....I just see you as a women with her heart open...gracious." That meant the world to me, that she sees me as how I know I am, how I always hoped I would be.

It's ok to stumble or fall, just pick yourself back up. And remember to keep loving, smiling and feeling.

Hello + Welcome!

Hi all! Thanks for stopping by! New year, new blog. I can't wait to be able to get back to writing. I had a blog through the process of planning my wedding, and after that I got so busy with work that I forgot all about my passion for writing.

It's so sad how our passions can get lost in translation. You get home from a long day at work and you are too tired to do anything else... I see how easy it can be, and I let it happen myself.

2013 is a new beginning, every day is a new beginning. A new chance to start fresh, so take advantage of that and aspire to be a better person each day, to be someone who you always wanted to be, to explore parts of yourself that you haven't had time for.
